- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Stopped in for lunch while working in Bala, and glad I did. The soup of the day was a curried lentil cauliflower soup which is right up my alley. It was probably one of the best soups I've ever had! They even put it in a cup for me to take on the road! I had a hard time deciding which panini to get, as they all sounded delicious, but was swayed by the young lady behind the counter when she said the salami on garlic rye with Gouda I was considering was her favourite. The baked goods looked so good that I had to supplement my lunch with a sweet treat. I opted for 3 different cookies which were equally delicious.
